Emirates, voted Worlds Best Airline 2017 by Tripadvisor, definitely lived up to the hype when I flew round trip from Newark to Athens this past summer. I was impressed when I flew economy to Athens, and was even more impressed after flying business class on the flight home.
Mount Zas (Zeus) on the island of Naxos was definitely my favorite place to hike in all of Greece. It is the highest point in the Cyclades and offers beautiful views from its peak. It is also incredibly historical! The ancient Greeks believed the Olympian Zeus, god of the sky and thunder, was born in a cave on the mountain and this is how the mountain and the cave got their names. I think that this makes this hike so much cooler!
What girl could deny going on a last minute trip to Miami?! Especially since I have never been! Surprising, right? When one of my closest girl friends invited me to go for Columbus Day weekend, I could not say no. I was even able to extend my 3 day weekend into a 4 day weekend, making this trip even more worth it.
Have you ever fallen in love with just about everything a place has to offer? That is what happened to me when I traveled to Barbados last week. Barbados, otherwise known as Bim to the locals, is everything I ever hoped for in an island destination and more.
